For Nicole, art is more than just drawing—it is one of the ways she finds peace and shares kindness with the world.
Like many autistic people, Nicole sometimes experiences anxiety and can become overwhelmed by things around her. When that happens, she loves to sit at her little easel with a pencil or marker in hand. As she begins to draw, her worries become quieter, and her creativity takes over.
What makes Nicole's artwork so special is that she is almost always thinking about someone else while she creates. Whether it's a family member, a friend, a favorite restaurant, a local business, or someone who has been kind to her, she enjoys making drawings to brighten their day. Seeing someone smile because of something she created brings her genuine happiness.
One of Nicole's favorite projects was designing a special picture for this past July 4th anniversary of 2026. She made a picture of the number "250" and colored it with the colors of the American Flag, which she proudly shared with many of the restaurants, pizzerias, and businesses she loves to visit. Many of the owners know Nicole personally and were honored to display her artwork in their businesses.
